For me, April First typically comes and goes each year without the tiniest prank. Somehow planning April Fools Day tricks never makes my to-do list.

It just seems like one of those silly holidays when the calendar begs for us to stop, smell the roses and take life a little less seriously. A little like Groundhog and Sweetest Days, I suppose. And who really has time for those?

But this April First, I’m trying something new. I’ve decided to challenge myself to find 365 things to do in and around Barrington, Illinois and share them right here on this blog. That’s a thing a day, for those of you who are counting. Do you think I can pull it off?

I’m afraid you’ll have to keep checking back to find out. And if I’m getting in over my head, then thanks to April Fools Day, at least I can call you gullible.
