My daughter turns two today. She’s at that sweet age where birthdays are new and expectations are nonexistent.

We’ll sing a few songs, cook some corn and the cob and maybe the “pizza man” will pay us a visit. They’re a few of her favorites, but seem like small and simple plans for what feels, to me, like such a joyful day.
