Here’s a great opportunity for your kids to meet Barrington firefighters and get up close and personal with our community’s fleet of firetrucks and ambulances!  The fire department is hosting their annual open house tomorrow morning from 9AM until noon.

Kids will be able to actally climb aboard the community’s emergency vehicles and learn some great fire safety tips from firefighters.  Barrington police officials will be there too talking about things like seatbelts, bicycle safety and other safety topics.  “Sparky” the firefighting dog and department’s mascot plans to stop by and there’ll be popcorn, donut holes, apple cider and coffee as a special treat.  It’s all happening at the Barrington public safety building at 400 North Northwest Highway tomorrow, October 2nd, starting at 9AM.
