You’ll find one-of-a-kind gifts, the hippest holiday fashions and long list of awesome auction items, including a “Girls-Night-Out” at Flirty Girl Fitness, where you can experience Chicago’s hottest new fitness trend, pole dance and striptease classes! You’ll find all that and more at the “O So Chic” fashion show, which is coming up on Saturday, November 13th.

“O So Chic!” is happening at the Stonegate Conference Center in Hoffman Estates from 10AM until 3PM on November 13th. The day begins with shopping in the lobby. There will be over 30 vendors selling things like exotic purses, fashions from chic Chicago boutiques, the latest trends in athletic wear, jewelry and children’s clothing. They’ll be raffling off a diamond cocktail ring from Long and Co. Jewelers. There will be lunch served during an exciting runway fashion show and there are also some really cool auction items available, including a a week-long stay at a 5-bedroom lake house for 12 near Hayward, Wisconsin. There’s a private cocktail party being offered for 10 friends in a posh Chicago penthouse with outstanding city views.

And here’s my favorite…How about a “Girls-Night Out” with 20 of your girlfriends that’ll have the man in your life’s heart thumping. It’s a Stretch Hummer Limo ride to Flirty Girl Fitness, a Chicago exercise hot spot where you can learn the art of private pole dancing and chair striptease dancing followed by a cocktail party at Zella’s in Lincoln Park!  Now that’s a gift that’ll keep on giving ;)!

OK, now I HAVE to show you some Flirty Girl Fitness videos. I’ll show you the “Official” Flirty Girl edited informational video in a minute. But first, take a look as these ladies gyrate, shimmy, shake and climb the poles in this UNCENSORED Flirty Girl video. This is a BEGINNER CLASS! Wait a minute. Beginners can do THAT???  Keep watching if you want to see some serious pole dance action…

The ladies of the Barrington Junior Women’s Club know how to throw a party and that’s why I love being part of this group. Tickets to the “O So Chic” fashion show are $75 if you want to sit along the runway and $65 for non-runway seats. You can also reserve a whole table, so you can bring your g-friends and get your bids ready for that night out at Flirty Girl Fitness! You can purchase tickets online right now by clicking HERE. The money raised will help fund a variety of local outreach programs, like Barrington Giving Day, WINGS, Barrington Youth and Family Services, Safety Town, Wellness Place and many more.

And, as I promised, I’m compiling our list of favorite Barrington Thanksgiving traditions with our “30 Ways in 30 Days” project here at 365Barrington.com. Last night, I asked Barrington Junior Women’s Club president, Lara Berry, what’s she’s most thankful for this year and about her favorite Thanksgiving tradition. Here’s what she had to say:

“I am most thankful for having healthy parents who are as active today as they were 10 years ago. All 15 grandkids in our family get a lot of gramma and gramps time…The tradition I most look forward to is going to my cabin for Thanksgiving. My family, parents, brothers, sisters and cousins all spend the week on the lake. Together we spend time sledding, skiing, skating and re-telling the old family stories that still make us laugh.”

What a big family and what a fun tradition, Lara! Thanks for sharing. You make being in the Barrington Junior Women’s Club so much fun and I look forward to seeing you at the fashion show. Please visit us again tomorrow to read about another Thanksgiving tradition shared by someone else right here in Barrington.
