Cook Street Coffee is offering something extra special this month. They’re expanding their showcase of local art by offering “Art N’ Java” Saturdays in December. They’ll be featuring unique gifts hand crafted by local artists for you to peruse and purchase while you drop by for your morning cup of coffee.
And there will also be live Christmas music at the neighborhood coffee shop this Saturday and Sunday.
This Saturday, December 11th, they’ll be featuring beautiful wire-wrapped jewelry made by Therese Davis, from 8AM until Noon. Next Saturday, December 18th from 8AM until Noon, they’ll be featuring colorful mosaic mirrors for less than $100 hand-made by Lily Russo. They’ll also be featuring glass-painted ornaments, watercolor gift tags, watercolor cards and small acrylics by Denise Devereux-Peters.
There will also be two free mini-concerts at Cook Street Coffee this weekend. On Saturday, December 11th, and instrumental rock band from Chicago, called “These Guys” will put a holiday spin on things starting at 3PM and on Sunday, December 12th, Shelly Pettibone will be performing jazzy Christmas songs.
