I always love the beginning of new traditions and the South Barrington Arboretum is adding complimentary horse-drawn sleigh rides to their list of things you can do when you visit their brand new outdoor skating plaza this year.
Every Saturday and Sunday, they’re offering complimentary horse-drawn sleigh rides from 11AM until 3PM on Saturdays and Sundays. The rides start at the brand new Alexian Brothers Skating Plaza. Have you checked out the new open air ice rink yet?
The brand new outdoor ice rink just opened for business at the Arboretum. We wrote about their grand opening last month here at 365Barrington.com. You’ll find that post by clicking HERE. The Skating Plaza will be open Wednesdays through Fridays from 2PM through 8PM, on Saturday from Noon until 8PM and on Sunday from Noon to 6PM. Admission costs $5 and includes complimentary skate rental. Children under 6 years-old are admitted for free. You’ll find the rink by the Chico’s and Coldwater Creek shops at The Arboretum of South Barrington which is at 100 W. Higgins Road in South Barrington.
