If you want to see the latest spring styles that are flying out of Barrington shops, you don’t want to miss a fast paced and fun fashion show & luncheon coming up in Barrington next week. It’s called the Spotlight on Barrington’s Stars. And that means there will be Barrington models wearing locally sold fashions to showcase the retailers in our community and promote shopping in 60010.
The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce hosts this event each spring to showcase local businesses and I’m told this fashions in this year’s show will give you great ideas to update your spring and summer wardrobe.
There will be models on hand from Barrington clothing, bridal, jewelry and accessories retailers. They’ll also be modeling fur coats, styles from local golf clubs and the latest fine jewelry options available here in Barrington. And stylists from local salons will be showcasing the latest looks in hair and makeup. Plus, in recognition of “Administrative Professional Day”, they’ll be honoring individuals for several distinguished awards like “Barrington Volunteer of the Year”.
Barrington Chamber President, Janet Meyer says, “It’ll be a very fast paced show in an exciting venue. It’s really a treat to enjoy a gourmet luncheon while observing the newest of fashions and recognizing very deserving citizens and business leaders in our community.”
The Spotlight on Barrington’s Stars luncheon and fashion show will take place next Wednesday, April 27th, at Biltmore Country Club in Barrington.
