The “Only Resort in Barrington” also happens to be one of the area’s best kept secrets.  When dozens of 365Barrington.com readers voted for Biltmore Golf, Beach & Tennis Club, sharing rave reviews in our Best of Barrington survey, I decided I had to investigate.  I recently spent an afternoon at Biltmore in North Barrington and walked away saying, “Wow!” about the many amenities I never realized they offered.  We’ll be sharing more about those amenities as we begin to reveal our Best of Barrington survey result this week.  But I wanted to offer a quick teaser because there’s a cool event happening tonight at the Biltmore Beach Club.

Biltmore is hosting a fun networking event for all members of the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce at their Beach Club restaurant from 4:30 to 6:30 tonight. They’ll be serving tropical drinks and hors d’ouevres at the Beach Club where you can soak up the sun while you sip and socialize.  You’ll also get a close-up look at the pool, restaurant, beach and Honey Lake, a cherished spot for summer swimming, fishing and boating…

  1. Our family has belonged to Biltmore for a long time and it’s been one of the smartest things we have ever done. Our kids have loved every moment of it and they appreciate getting dressed up to go to dinner in the club house. My husband and I each own our own businesses and it’s been the perfect place to bring people for a nice thank you dinner or lunch. And the people who manage Biltmore always make me feel special.
