Nothing captures the excitement of the new school year like the start of football season in Barrington and tonight’s the night! We’re all invited to the FIRST EVER Bronco Nation Kick Off with a combined Pep Rally and Red & White Scrimmage at Barrington High School Stadium, starting this afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
The community is welcome to join students, staff, parents, families and athletes tonight for the event sponsored by the BHS Quarterback Club “Bronco Booster Club” for the event between 4:30 and 8:45 p.m.
It’s going to be a great night of entertainment, food, music and, of course, BRONCO FOOTBALL. Here’s the lineup of activities planned for the night…
* Come out to watch the BHS Intra-Squad Scrimmage Games
* See performances by the Cheerleaders and Broncettes Dance Teams
* In the pep rally tradition, they’ll announce all Barrington Youth Football & Cheerleading Squads
* Purchase the New 2013 Bronco Apparel
* Get your 2013 Bronco Nation T-shirts on sale by the Barrington Stampede
* Purchase food from local restaurants (burgers, fries, pizza, meatballs sandwiches, frozen yogurt & candy)
John Roncone, the voice of the Broncos, will be announcing. Also be on the lookout for an appearance from Bronco Billy. Plus, there will be special guest singers performing the National Anthem.
BHS Football head coach Joe SAnches says, “This is a community event so everyone is welcome! Come show your school spirit and cheer on the teams. Thank you for your continued support of the Bronco Football Program.”
