Every year in October we love to shine a spotlight on the local businesses and merchants who take part in the Village of Barrington’s annual Scarecrow design competition. In our view, the Village’s contest is a great opportunity for us to showcase the personalty of our businesses found here in Barrington. It’s so much fun to see the creativity that goes into all of the scarecrows perched outside schools and the storefronts of our local retailers and we’ve seen some clever displays this year!
Voting is underway now and the winning scarecrow that receives the most votes will be announced by the Village of Barrington later this month. You can CLICK HERE to see every scarecrow in the contest and cast your vote.
But to put the focus on merchants who take part each year, we like to host a scarecrow-inspired version of our mystery photo contest here at 365Barrington.com. It’s a little game we like to call “Spot the Scarecrow“.
For a chance to win, all you have to do is tell us where around town you’ve spotted the mystery scarecrow of the week. And this week, we have an AWESOME PRIZE on the line for TWO WINNERS!
The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce has given us two pairs of tickets to give away to their 10th annual Barrington Area Taste’fest and Expo coming up next week on Thursday night. It’s a great opportunity to sample the signature dishes of dozens of local eateries all in one night and under one roof. For a chance to win, all you have to do is answer this question…
