//
1 min read

There’s a movement underway at Barrington High School called Broncos Committed focused on motivating students to make choices for a healthy lifestyle.  Based on John Underwood’s “Life of an Athlete” program and led by BHS athletes, the group’s mission is to motivate others to live a drug and alcohol free life, maximizing potential in their social, athletic and academic worlds.

Barrington 220 media relations correspondent and new 365 Barrington contributor Morgan Delack for our Smart Moves series shares more about a newly released video highlighting the inaugural class of Broncos Committed, including the students, teachers and coaches behind the cause.

Broncos Committed is not a club — it’s a lifestyle that raises the bar of excellence for both the athlete and the non-athlete. It asks Barrington High School students to commit to a 100 percent drug and alcohol free lifestyle, and it provides scientific rationale for all things related to optimal performance.
