Barrington’s Ice House Mall is rolling out the red carpet for trick-or-treaters this Friday to celebrate Halloween. Bring your kids in costume so they can have fun filling their candy bags while you enjoy a little shopping and dining.
All stores will be offering Halloween treats between 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, October 31st. There will be a Halloween craft corner set up at the Ice House Mall & Village Shops for some good old-fashioned holiday fun along with Halloween crafts at Tootsies Shoes and Tommy Terri Children’s Boutique all day long. Plus, Tootsies is offering $10 off any regular price shoes on Friday, October 31st only when kids show up in their costumes!
An exciting collection of stores awaits at the Ice House Mall featuring women and children’s clothing, shoes and accessories, gifts, original artwork and antiques. The Sanctuary Salon and Spa offers a relaxing oasis. The Travel House will help you plan your next weekend getaway or exotic vacation. And Chessie’s Restaurant provides a rare opportunity to enjoy lunch or dinner daily inside a vintage Illinois Railway dining car.

And for all of you history buffs, here’s yet another reason to visit Barrington’s Ice House Mall. An exhibit is now underway at the Ice House featuring vintage photos and facts about the evolution of Barrington’s historic train-line property, which was built in 1904. Originally the Bowman Dairy and then the Jefferson Suburban Ice Company, the Ice House’s story speaks volumes about Barrington’s history. You’ll find the Bowman Dairy exhibit at the Ice House Mall across from Acacia Organics. It’s open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
