We’re so excited about ChristKindlFest coming up next week that we decided to host a 12 Days of ChristKindlFest COUNTDOWN! Between now and December 7th, we’ll be sharing 12 reasons you don’t want to miss this year’s 4-day fest, which opens on Thursday, December 4th, in downtown Barrington. We’re kicking things off with – our favorite – A CONTEST! So, without further ado, here’s reason #1 to join the fun.
1.) The More the Merrier ChristKindlFest Contest
“The MORE the MERRIER” is one of the MOTTOS for the second annual ChristKindlFest winter market and music festival, coming up in downtown Barrington from December 4th through the 7th.
One of the coolest things about ChristKindlFest is that people come from far and wide to enjoy the fest and stay for all the fun downtown Barrington has to offer. Local merchants and restaurants will be rolling out the red carpet for all visitors to Barrington during the 4-day fest. To celebrate the community’s holiday spirit, the ChristKindlFest committee has lined up THREE awesome prizes highlighting some of the fun experiences found only in Barrington. All who enter have a chance to win the first ever “More the Merrier” ChristKindlFest Contest.
To enter, all you have to do is help spread the word about Barrington’s ChristKindlfest. Share the fest on social media, in your circles or at your Thanksgiving dinner table. To have your name entered into the contest drawing, simply tell us who you’ll be inviting to ChristKindlFest in the form below for a chance to win one of these three uniquely Barrington prizes.
First Prize

Downtown Barrington will be transformed into a small European village for the second annual ChristKindlFest 4-day outdoor & tented winter market and music fest in the BMO Harris Bank parking lot at the corner of Cook & Station Streets.
Hosted by the Barrington Breakfast Rotary Club and the Barrington Village Association, ChristKindlFest runs from December 4th to 7th: Thursday 10 am to 11 pm, Friday and Saturday 10:00 am to midnight, and Sunday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The fest will feature shopping at 20 Germanic chalets, kiddie rides, visits with Santa & reindeer PLUS international food, drink and non-stop live music & dancing inside a massive heated tent. You’ll find ChristKindlFest in the BMO Harris Bank parking lot at the corner of Cook and Station Streets in the heart of downtown Barrington. Walking distance to the Metra Train station, visitors can take the train or park in the station lot near Spring and Station Street. A free trolley will be running between Barrington retailers and ChristKindlFest on Saturday.
