If you or someone you know is planning a wedding, there’s one event this weekend that you don’t want to miss. Christina Currie of Christina Currie Events is hosting Grace Meets Glamour, her annual boutique bridal show on Sunday where you’ll be able to meet and mingle with Christina’s favorite Chicagoland wedding vendors while being treated to an elegant afternoon of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live music and the latest in bridal fashions.
Christina limits the number of guests at Grace Meets Glamour to allow more opportunities for brides and grooms-to-be to get to know the various vendors who will be there to display and discuss their services. The innovative annual event will showcase some of the leading companies in the local wedding industry such as photographers, designers, musicians, bridal salons, artists, and florists.
Christina’s goal is to inspire the brides with designer vignettes and a bridal fashion show like no other, which is new to the event this year. “My hope is that each bride will feel special after experiencing Grace Meets Glamour,” Christina says. “With a limited number of guests, you will get personalized one-on-one attention that is so important when planning your special day! Each vendor will offer guidance, assuring you get top-notch advice and walk away feeling more familiar with the planning process.”
By the end of the show, Christina hopes to have helped answer your large decision-making questions, such as picking the theme, creating the right mood, floral types, entertainment, and photography. “Together with the vendors, you will receive over 30 years of wedding design experience in one beautiful afternoon.”
Christina Currie Events, Inc. will host the Grace Meets Glamour bridal affair at Chicago Marriott Northwest, 4800 Hoffman Blvd, Hoffman Estates on Sunday, February 22, 2015 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. There is no admission fee for Grace Meets Glamour, but guests will be asked to donate $5.00 to Wish Upon a Wedding, the nation’s first non-profit wish granting organization providing weddings and vow renewals for couples facing terminal illness and serious life-changing circumstances, regardless of sexual orientation.
