Mandile’s serves fresh, authentic and inspired Italian cuisine throughout the week. The sauces, dressings, and pasta are all handmade daily from scratch with the best natural ingredients. The menu selection is filled with traditional Italian dishes from family recipes including their signature housemade Lasagna.

But don’t be surprised if tradition offers a twist with a tempting modern interpretation.

Executive Chef Gumaro Castillo isn’t shy about introducing new dishes developed during his 20 years in the kitchen.

For the Ravioli Cosenza dish he refines a delectable creamy saffron sauce. He serves it with house made ravioli that is stuffed with Scamorza cheese and then he tops it with aged Parmigiano. Delicious.

Mandile’s guests also love the blend of flavors in Chef Castillo’s brick oven pizzas, with ingredients like plum tomatoes, artichoke, fire roasted pepper, portobello, zucchini and Italian sausage complementing a variety of delicious Italian cheeses.

Michael Mandile started managing the 16-year old family business operations just a few years ago. He’s reaching out to diners on social media, using the Open Table reservation app, and responding personally to reviews the restaurant receives. He’s also the sure-fire fresh food advocate at the restaurant.

Much of the food and ingredients are sourced locally, including fresh fish from the Randolph Street market downtown. The menu changes seasonally to infuse it with what’s fresh.

But the night is not over once your stomach is happy and your date is smiling back at you. It’s time to dance to live music or just enjoy the romance evoked by the twinkling white Italian lights that dangle above the tables dressed in red.
