Don’t miss the fourth annual Kid Fest and Kite Fly at Citizens Park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 2nd. It’s FREE, it’s so much fun for the family and the forecast calls for beautiful sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-seventies!
Kid Fest includes both The Barrington Kite Fly and Family Nature Fest events – two great events equaling one fabulously fun day with a wide variety of outdoor activities.
KidFest is hosted by the Barrington Breakfast Rotary Club, Leave No Child Inside and the Barrington Park District and takes place at beautiful Citizens Park.

Choose from over 20 different nature-related educational sessions and activities including tree climbing, pond dipping for macro-invertebrates, nature crafts and so much more! Parents and children can explore the lives of insects, mammals and other animals. There is so much to do, learn and explore at the Barrington KidFest. You won’t want to miss this FREE event.
14th Annual Rotary Kite Fly!
Let the winds of Spring carry your kite to its highest height at this wonderful family event.
Kites are free to kids of all ages (limit one per child) and no registration is necessary. Lunch, snacks and beverages are available for purchase.
