The elements of nature, earth, air, water and light, are all around us, and yet we seldom take notice the harmonies creation provides. It is this beauty I look for in life, and I try to capture in my art. After graduating from the American Academy of Art in the early 80’s, oils and watercolor were my medium of study. Later, in the 1980’s -90’s I worked as a professional artist for the Parsons Corporation and currently lead a team of artists and designers there. In the last 10 years, I’ve been rediscovering the struggles and joys of Plein Air painting with my wife and fellow artist Bobbie Puttrich. I also enjoy writing and sharing stories about the many lessons learned while painting, and teaching painting workshops.  No registration required.  For more information visit StevePuttrich.com.
