236. Enter Our Back to School Photo Contest!

The first day of school has arrived for students in the Barrington 220 School District along with a feeling that, for me, can best be described with one simple word…”Hallelujah!” Please don’t get me wrong. Our kids are four, five, and six years old and I’m their number one fan… ( most of the time 😉 .) But since summer school, swim lessons, Safety Town and our family vacation are now things of the past, I’ve been running out of ways to entertain them. That can only mean that it’s time to get back to the books!!! Their first day of class is next week but, now that the new school year is here, all I can say is that this train is bound for glory! If you’re like me, this song pretty much sums up the mood…

The return of the school year brings back a favorite photo contest we host every year here at 365Barrington.com. We’ve lined up FOUR awesome prizes from Deer Park Town Center, including a special treat for a little pampering at Avalon Salon and Day Spa. After a busy summer season filled with kids’ activities and family adventures, don’t we all deserve a little of that? So today we’re excited to officially kick off the 2015 Back to School Photo Contest!

Here’s a quick look at this year’s prizes hand-picked to help you either a.) enjoy some well-deserved pampering or b.) add some of the season’s hottest new merchandise to your student’s back-to-school wardrobe:

First Place: A one hour massage and facial from Avalon Salon & Day Spa

Second Place: $150 to spend at American Eagle Outfitters

Third Place: $75 to spend at Buckle

Fourth Place: $50 to spend at The Gap

To enter the contest, all you have to do is share a favorite back to school photo from this year. Most Barrington 220 classes resume today, but we’ll be accepting entries through the first week of September so we can welcome photos from families with a later school start. We’ll reveal the winners the week following Labor Day. So enjoy the start of your new school year routines, thanks for sharing your photos and GOOD LUCK!
