During the ribbon cutting event, guests toured the newly renovated restaurant while sampling Epicure Bistro’s elegant fare and refreshments on Wednesday, August 19th.  Owner, Katherine Cappas gave a tour of the space and explained the restaurant’s bistro concept.

Katherine says her love for crepes began many years ago when she would visit the Magic Pan Stand in Northbrook, which inspired her to open her own creperie. Katherine opened her restaurant concept in Woodstock 10 years ago and was delighted to move to Barrington, where she has lived for 26 years, when the space became available.

Once a month, Epicure Bistro features conversational music with a solo artist who sings, plays guitar and keyboard for guests. They pride themselves on a unique Sunday brunch, with a full crepe menu and experience unlike any other in town. Happy hour specials are available Tuesday- Thursday from 4-7pm. Epicure Bistro is open Tuesday-Saturday 11am-9pm and Sundays from 9am-2pm.  To learn more and review their menu, visit EpicureBistro.com.
