Local volunteers will build seven new homes this summer for Guatemala City families living in extreme poverty thanks to those who came out to support Sunday’s BHS-student produced Hopes in Style fashion show at Stonegate Conference & Banquet Centre in Hoffman Estates. That brings the total number of homes built by the Hope’s In organization to more than 20 in the past four years!

Hope’s In has been growing in leaps and bounds since it was founded by BHS grads and twin sisters Courtney and Ashley Quigley in 2012. In partnership with Potter’s House Association, they’ve inspired hundreds of fellow students and their families to build homes and provide medicine, food and support to the 13,000+ people living in communities surrounding Guatemala City’s garbage dump.

To show the incredible energy behind this cause, 365Barrington’s Alex Gaul covered Sunday’s fashion show and shares this video report from the runway.

If you missed this year’s fashion show, but would still like to support the cause, you can learn more about opportunities to donate and volunteer at HopesIn.org. And enjoy 2016’s featured fashions and all the runway fun by viewing this photo gallery, courtesy of Barrington’s Bob and Anne Lee.
