Barrington’s White House was full of glamour and glitz during its first-ever Academy Awards® viewing party on Sunday, February 28th. Guests came dressed to impress, nibbling Hors d’oeuvres and sipping champagne while watching the excitement of the Academy Awards live on large screens throughout the historic house.

Oscar ballots were cast to guess the night’s winners, and prizes were awarded for categories such as best celebrity look-alike and most glamorous.

The Oscar party committee created a lovely evening full of ambiance complete with a red carpet entrance and iconic movie posters throughout the house. Nancy Davis, the Chairperson of this event, expressed that the night holds a great deal of significance for her because it evolved from Oscar parties she hosted in her own Barrington home for many years. “This Oscar event presented an opportunity for community neighbors, friends, and businesses to all come together to create a fun, wonderful evening in the beautiful setting of the Barrington White House.” It was a truly memorable night.
