The Village of Barrington will host the 2016 Holiday Merchant Wine Walk on Saturday, November 19 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This event is planned to kick off the holiday shopping season by introducing shoppers and visitors to the latest offerings at Barrington’s many unique shops and restaurants.
Shops and restaurants from throughout the Village are participating in this enjoyable event. The Holiday Merchant Wine Walk will offer free wine tastings and other tasty treats at each of the stops. In addition, there will be wine tastings at several restaurants and wine merchants. Customers can begin the Wine Walk at any participating business by picking up a location map for the tastings.
The Holiday Merchant Wine Walk is a wonderful opportunity for shoppers and visitors to experience the stores and restaurants in downtown Barrington, the Shops on Lageschulte Street, the Ice House Mall and in the Barrington Commons. Each merchant looks forward to highlighting their merchandise, unique gifts and specialty items on this fun day in the Village. Look for that unique gift while shopping and sipping a variety of wines. Each participating business along the walk will feature a wine tasting and small treats. Enter the drawing at any participating location for your chance to win gift cards from Barrington businesses.
