Barrington’s Brat Tent will be back in action for this year’s Independence Day festivities. There is plenty of entertainment for all ages planned for June 30, July 1, 2, 3 and, of course, the 4th of July! Bring your appetite for food and fun. Hosted by the Barrington Lions Club in cooperation with the Village of Barrington, the Barrington Brat Tent will feature food, drinks, activities and games for kids PLUS an exciting lineup of live music. Friday, June 30th – OPENING DAY!

Saturday, July 1st – TRIBUTE TENT DAY!

Fest Hours 11:00am to 11:30pm

12:00pm to 7:00pm | Tribute Tent
Come down to the tent early today with the family. Show your support for the men and women of our armed forces, local Police and Fire Departments.

  • Welcome over the 100 Navy Cadets we bring in for the afternoon. For many this is the first time they have been away from home now stationed at Naval Station Great Lakes.
  • Make sure to be there at 12:00pm for the impressive and loud arrival of ROLLING THUNDER. Immediately followed by US Marine Corp Color Guard and National Anthem.
  • Watch them compete in relay games with our Barrington High school athletes.
  • Meet active duty Marines and tour their armored Humvee.
  • Meet Officers and see vehicles from Barrington, Barrington Hills, and Lake County Police Departments.
  • Learn about the great work the 100 Club of Chicago does. Go for a ride in Chicago Fire Captain (ret) George’s Full size Fire Truck.
  • Visit all the exhibitors under the Big Top.

Sunday at the Brat Tent is dedicated to help this years partner, with proceeds going to Gigi’s Playhouse.

Tuesday, 4th of July

Brat Tent open 10:00am to 2:00pm

12:00pm | Parade kicks off at 10:00am an travels down Main St. from the High School to the Train station. * Stop by the Brat Tent and visit with your neighbors after the parade for Music, Food, Drink and visiting with your neighbors.
Dusk | Fireworks after dusk by High school

The $5.00 parking fee helps defer the cost of the fireworks. It is one of the best locations to view Barringtons Fireworks show brought to you by Barrington Bank and Trust.
