Pine Food Company Co-owners Alina & Jerry Jaskowiak

We’ve been loving the new energy over at Pine Food Company on Station Street! Formerly Pure Organic Juicery, Pine Food Company is now a full-service organic café and juice bar after co-owners (and real-life married couple) Alina & Jerry Jaskowiak invested in a major kitchen expansion and dining room renovation. With Jerry now serving as head chef, they’ve been developing a menu that caters to the vegetarian, health conscious diner and anyone who wants to make better choices about the food they put in their bodies. Alina says Pine Food Company is not just a café, it’s a way of life.

“When I think of the vision that Jerry and I have thought about relentlessly in the years that we’ve been together working at the juice bar, we always have emphasized the importance of community. We have always wanted to share our hearts with our community and what we think is valuable in this day and age where a lot of our connection to food and people and our bodies is being lost,” Alina says. “To us, it’s very important for each and every one of us to realize that our food comes from someplace. It comes from the most original source. It comes from the earth, from our friends, from our kitchen onto your plate. It’s a beautiful creation and co-creation of all of these elements and thoughts and creative processes that we put into everything that we have to offer to you at Pine Food Company.”

To add to the excitement, Pine Food Company just launched a new Friday 3-course dinner series featuring tastings of their vegetarian menu. There are 20 seats available for each dinner at $40 each. They’ve been selling out so be sure call or drop by Pine Food Company to sign up soon if you’re interested in their two upcoming dinners on March 23rd and April 6th! This past weekend’s dinner menu included Peanut Butter & Pickle Toast on Sourdough Rye, Roasted Pear Kale Salad with Ginger Dressing, Bao Bun with notes of Chili Garlic Paste and Fresh Herbs and Tahini Chocolate Chip Cookies.

You’ll find Pine Food Company at 100 East Station Street (enter on Cook Street) in Barrington. They’re open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday and Saturday.
