The Christmas menu is planned, your grocery list is complete but, if you’re looking to update your holiday table, Gwendolyn over at Paris Market Antiques says vintage silver serve-ware works like a charm.
“It flickers under the candlelight and each piece of silver literally lights up the table!”
Paris Market Antiques is filled with silver plate and sterling silver pieces to add a touch of elegance to your 2018 holiday table-scape. From bonbon servers to olive spoons to strawberry forks, you will find hundreds of different pieces of vintage silver flatware at Paris Market Antiques. Whatever their original purpose may have been, Gwendolyn says there are so many different ways to use each piece. Dainty silver forks are great for bite-sized appetizers, for example, and little ladles are perfect for serving just the right portion of your family’s favorite sauces.
Gwendolyn says people love to create a mix-and-match collection of vintage serve ware to add charm and personality to each table. She also says little pieces are among her clients’ favorite gifts. “I’ve sold quite a few bonbon servers to people who want a sweet silver gift to go along with a bag of gourmet truffles. It becomes a collectible keepsake and adds that special touch.”
She also has coffee and tea sets and a lovely selection of silver trays which remain popular serving pieces for special occasions.
To celebrate the season, Paris Market Antiques along with Savvy Spirit are hosting Mimosas and Mistletoe, a festive holiday shopping experience at from 3-7 every Thursday night in December. All are welcome to sip mimosas as you enjoy the spirit of the season and the fun holiday decorations at the Ice House Mall.
