Barrington Children’s Charities developed and is fully funding a program at all eight elementary schools in Barrington 220 for children on the federal free and reduced price meal program. In partnership with Blessings in a Backpack, BCC provides these local elementary children in need a backpack full of food for 38 weekends (plus long weekends and holidays) during the school year. For only $100 you can help a child in need eat healthy over the weekends for the entire school year. If you can’t attend this year’s Derby Party, you can still click here to sponsor a child TODAY!

To get into the Derby Party spirit, here are scenes from last year’s event.

Barrington Children’s Charities is a not-for-profit charitable organization working to positively impact the lives of children.

Run entirely by volunteers, BCC donates monies raised to support and address the social, emotional, physical and educational needs of children of the Barrington 220 school district area and chooses its beneficiaries based on need.
