As a part of Barrington’s White House Spring 2021 Season, our Culture & Community Center in partnership with the Barrington Cultural Commission presents The Poetry Hour!

This community event is a series of poetry readings submitted and read by local citizens. The theme is “Emerging”.

The Barrington Cultural Commission is a 12-member body whose purpose is to coordinate and cross-promote the many cultural activities occurring in the Village. Many local groups are represented, including Barrington High School, the Library, the Park District, the Historical Society, Barrington Writers’ Workshop, Bataille Academie of the Danse, and Quintessential Barrington magazine, among others. Main Street is now a community and cultural center featuring regular performances and events.
