Another week, another mystery photo! Congratulations to Lisa Barnett for winning last week’s contest by correctly guessing the picture was a closeup of the Catlow Theatre marquee. Today, we’re turning it up a notch with what might be a more challenging ask. In fact, I’ll add a second photo to the mix in case that helps. Can any of you guess where in Barrington we took these? It’s less central part of a popular place and, for our clue, we’ll just say, “X marks the spot”.
If you know the location, enter your answer in the contest entry form below for a chance to win this week’s prize which is also a mystery. We love to keep you guessing ;).
Here’s how the contest works:
- Submit guesses about where today’s mystery photo was taken in the form below
- You have until the end of the day next Tuesday to submit your guess
- Next week on Wednesday, we’ll draw a name and reveal the winner at 365Barrington.com
- We will contact the winner with instructions about receiving the prize of the week
- Only one guess per person
- Your email address must be valid, so we can contact you if you win
There you go! All you have to do is SUBMIT YOUR GUESS IN THE FORM BELOW. We’ll reveal the photo’s location when we debut another new mystery photo next week.
And be sure to pay attention to the sights you see around town. It’s the little details that could be on display the next time we ask “Guess Where, Barrington?”
Good luck to all who enter! And here’s one last look at this week’s mystery photo.

There are fourteen weekend performances scheduled between April 24th and May 17th, 2026 so save the date, phone a friend and reserve your seats today!
By Jeremy Kareken & David Murrell and Gordon Farrell, The Lifespan of a Fact is based on a real-life literary showdown featuring a young, ambitious fact-checker assigned to verify an essay by a celebrated author. What begins as routine editing quickly spirals into a high-stakes battle over accuracy, artistic license, ego, and integrity.
Witty, timely, and surprisingly funny, this is a play for anyone who cares about journalism, storytelling, and the power of words. You will not want to miss the sparks fly in the black box space at Parker Players Theater Company!
