Each year Let It Be Us collects almost 2,000 toys for children in foster care and distributes them to group homes in Chicago and the Northern Region. One addition for this year’s Toy Drive is that they are collecting toys for the children on the Illinois Heart Gallery who are waiting for an adoptive home. (Let It Be Us now manages the Adoption Listing Service and the Heart Gallery of Illinois.)

The kickoff meeting is September 23rd at 7:00 pm. 3 Co-Chairs and other Committee Members are needed organize outreach to local merchants to help collect toys, manage the logistics of toy pickup and coordinate volunteer drivers who will deliver the toys to designated group homes in Chicago and the Northern Region.
