The Barrington Area Volunteer Connection (BAVC) is on a mission to support our many area non-profits making a world of difference in and beyond Barrington. This Saturday’s Volunteer Connection LIVE event at the Barrington Area Library is a great way to learn about how you too can be part of the energy driving this local spirit of giving. Annual CFC Fall Plant Sale!
Citizens for Conservation is having their annual Fall Native Tree & Shrub Sale and is looking for volunteers to help with order pickup and delivery from October 15th – October 18th. Multiple positions and time slots are available & its a great way to help one of CFC’s biggest events of the year!

Barrington Area Conservation Trust – Restoration Days
Join BACT for their restoration work days held throughout the year. From experiencing the wooded ravines to prairies and wetlands, its a fun and interactive way to volunteer. It’s family friendly and a great opportunity for groups who are looking for outdoor service or team opportunities!

Flint & Spring Creek Watersheds Partnership – Various Roles!
The Watersheds’ mission is to improve the water quality of the two creeks, educate citizens by building partnerships, and preserve ecosystems and other natural features for current and future generations.
They have several positions available where volunteer help is needed – Publicity and Communications, Networking with other Fox River Groups and as a Technical Advisor for help with advising on water quality. This is a great way to help preserve the natural resources we have in our area!
