Meatheads’ is celebrating the return to high school football season with a month-long Burger Battle in Barrington. From now through September 22nd, Meatheads’ menu is featuring two signature burgers created by student athletes at Barrington High School. The BHS cheerleaders are on one side with a burger they created called “The Billy” and the BHS football players are the challenging team with their own burger called “The Bronco”. Whichever team sells most of their burgers at Meatheads between now and September 22nd is the winner and we’re monitoring our reader favorites with a poll here at 365Barrington.com.
Meatheads will be tracking the sales of the “Bronco” and “Billy” burgers and they’ll donate 10% of the sales of each burger back to the organization at the end of the contest.
The actual winner will be determined by burger sales, but we’ve set up a poll to find out which burger YOU like best…
Now for more of the juicy details and a closer look at the special burgers being offered in this contest.
“The Bronco” or the football players’ burger is made with 1/3 lb Certified Angus Beef, American cheese, bacon, cajun fries, ketchup, lettuce and grilled onion.
The cheerleaders’ burger is called “The Billy Burger” with 1/3 lb Certified Angus Beef, provolone cheese, bacon, Ketchapeño (a gourmet spicy ketchup), buffalo ranch, lettuce and raw onion.
