10-year-old James Ensign of Barrington had just turned two when he was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia. Ensign was granted a Make-A-Wish skate with the Chicago Blackhawks in April of 2013. Now a youth Make-A-Wish ambassador, James is gearing up to speak about his experience at the organization’s annual “Wish Ball” at Soldier Field on Saturday, May 3.
