Congratulations to the owners of Barrington’s new Spring Donut at 113 S. Cook Street, where leaders from the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC) and the Village of Barrington recently celebrated the bakery’s opening with a ribbon-cutting.
Sisters, Katarzyna Mierzeyewska and Emilia Augustyn, moved here from Poland a few months ago to pursue their passion for serving their country’s signature coffee with homemade pastries. All of their menu items are made fresh daily; offering Polish flavored drinks, pastries, quiches, sandwiches and soups in the winter months.
