Heinen’s Grocery is hosting a free tasting of hand-selected Tom’s Foolery bourbons along with an assortment of cheeses at the Barrington store. It’s coming up from noon until 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 11th.
Just like old times, Tom’s Foolery Bourbon is distilled like bourbons prior to the 1850’s: in copper pots. Heinen’s wine & spirits consultants recently visited the Tom’s Foolery distillery in Cleveland, Ohio to taste select hand-crafted bourbons. Their mission was to choose the perfect bourbons to bring to you exclusively this holiday season. After exhaustive samplings, they settled on two micro-distilled bourbons they say you’re sure to enjoy!
From the 9th barrel ever distilled at Tom’s Foolery in 1897, this mature bourbon will pack some heat to keep you warm this winter.
Cask Strength Bourbon – Barrel 182
Barrel 182 is made with only local organic grains. Its rich, buttery flavor with a hint of vanilla and rye make for a great holiday drink.
So spread the word and bring your friends to sample these specialty bourbons at Heinen’s Barrington on Sunday. We hope to see you there for a toast and a touch of holiday cheer…no tom foolin’ around!
