A brand new luxury residential development is coming to downtown Barrington and construction just started this week! The Village of Barrington announced that in early 2018, the former ADCO site (southwest corner of North Hough Street and Liberty Street between the McGrath Volvo dealership and Paul’s Burritos) will be the new home to 101 West, a beautiful, 64-unit apartment community.
The low-profile, 3- and 4-story complex is a modern, loft-style design and features amenities including a rooftop terrace, underground parking, community lounge and fitness center.
The masonry and metal-accented building represents a modern interpretation of an adaptive re-use loft-style building. All units will have a balcony or outdoor terrace as well as luxury finishes including quartz countertops, designer tile, stainless steel appliances, wood plank flooring and shaker style cabinetry.
Monroe Residential Partners LLC purchased the property from the Village in December 2016, after securing all entitlements from for the development. Construction financing was secured from the Chicago office of The Private Bank.
“We are so pleased to see this modern residential apartment complex being built on the former ADCO property,” says Peg Blanchard, the Village of Barrington’s Director of Economic Development. “These beautiful units will provide wonderful housing options for young couples, families, and older empty-nesters. The complex is within walking distance of the Village Center and will allow residents to enjoy all the activities, restaurants, and entertainment options that Barrington has to offer.”
The Developer will be setting up a leasing office in Barrington and they anticipate the project to be available for occupancy in early 2018. For additional information and unit availability contact Drew Friestedt at Monroe Residential Partners LLC; email@example.com.
