A live concert in the plaza by the band Hi Infidelity will kick off The Arboretum of South Barrington’s summer-long celebration of the center’s 10th Anniversary! The band will perform from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20th following an afternoon of crafts, cars and fun in the sun.

The Arboretum has hand-selected three special Wednesdays throughout the summer of 2018 – June 20th, July 11th and August 8th – to celebrate with the community.

“This is our way to say thank you to the South Barrington community for 10 wonderful years of business and memories,” says Monika Kalicki, the property’s marketing director, “We hope you join us in celebrating our 10 year anniversary throughout the summer.”

The Arboretum’s Wednesday celebrations will begin with a Local Artisan & Vendor Market on the plaza between Georgio’s and MAGO. Open from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., the market will offer unique, hand-crafted treasures like wooden roses, glass jewelry, and table top bean bag games, curated locally by the talents of our surrounding communities.

Head to Main Street at 6 p.m. for the return of Cruise Nights as classic car enthusiasts showcase their cars until 9 p.m. Parking to show off the rides is first come, first serve and tends to fill up quickly; car enthusiasts planning to show off their cars should arrive early. Orange safety cones will be set up by 4:30 p.m. to mark parking for anyone who wishes to secure a space for their classic car early.

After perusing the cars, join friends and family in front of iPic Theaters for a live Concert on the Plaza. This summer, Hi Infidelity, SODA, and 7th Heaven will perform. Guests are welcome to bring their own chairs or blankets and enjoy music on the green from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Concert viewing space is also first come, first serve, so plan to arrive early. Well behaved and leashed four legged friends are also welcome to enjoy the shows.
