“You Are Beautiful” Mystery Photo Location & Winner Revealed!

Remember last week’s Monday Mystery Photo contest? We challenged you to guess where in the Barrington area we spotted this sticker from artist Matthew Hoffman’s “you are beautiful” campaign. What started with just 100 stickers as a passion project back in 2002 has grown to include millions of large-scale “you are beautiful” art installations and tiny stickers around the world, including this one right here in our neck of the woods.

We received many guesses ranging from the Starbucks, CVS pharmacy and Meatheads drive-thrus to Barrington’s Metra station. All great guesses, but the correct answer is…. the drive-thru at PEPPER PARK COFFEE in Lake Barrington! Look at these beautiful barista smiles just waiting to greet you at the “You are Beautiful” window!

All who guessed correctly we entered in to a drawing. We just chose the winner and her name is… KATE TRACY! We’ll be in touch with you this week, Kate, about how to receive your prize, which is a Pepper Park Coffee gift card. Congratulations, Kate, for winning our contest and thanks to all who entered!

Located at 22000 N. Pepper Road in Lake Barrington, Pepper Park Coffee is a gourmet coffee shop featuring Chicago Coffee Roastery, pastries and baked goods along with a variety of menu options for breakfast and lunch. While I love the vibe of the indoor cafe, the drive-thru is so convenient when time doesn’t allow for a longer visit. Learn more about Pepper Park Coffee’s menu and meet the baristas at PepperParkCoffee.com.

Stay tuned for another mystery photo contest next week. The rules are the same as our past Guess Where Wednesday contest. Simply guess where in Barrington we took the mystery photo and submit your guess in the contest entry form or comments box below. From all the correct guesses submitted, we’ll draw our winner and reveal the location and prize the following week. That’s all there is to it!

In the meantime, be sure to pay attention to the sights you see around town. It’s the little details that could be on display the next time we ask “Guess Where, Barrington?”
