After canceling last year’s holiday events due to the pandemic, Deer Park Town Center is thrilled to host the return of Santa’s arrival and fireworks show among many other holiday events and activities they have planned for the weeks ahead. It all starts with Santa’s return and the magical tree lighting at 6 p.m. this Saturday, November 13th!

Enjoy a special performance by Those Funny Little People starting at 6PM! Santa arrives in the fire truck following the performance and count down with Santa as he turns on the holiday lights. Don’t miss the magical fireworks show with a finale honoring our veterans.

Children ages 5-12 can write letters to Santa for a chance to win a ride on the fire truck with Santa at Deer Park Town Centers’ holiday fireworks show. All letters must be dropped off at the Barnes & Noble mailbox, located in the children’s department by Thursday, November 11th. The letter template can be downloaded HERE.

Santa will be available for socially distant visits and free contactless photos until 8:30PM. A photographer will be on-site and photos will be posted in an album on the Deer Park Town Center Facebook page within 72 hours after the event. Kids who visit with Santa will receive free antler headbands and a free pouch of magical reindeer food, while supplies last. Photos with Santa take place outdoors, near the tree. Please be courteous, one photo per family with personal camera permitted.

Fireworks show by J&M Displays Inc., begins at approximately 6:30pm. Arrive early, parking lots fill up fast. Event takes place near the traffic circle. Please note that areas behind the movie theatre to behind Crate & Barrel and Pottery Barn will be closed due to the fireworks safety perimeter, no vehicle or pedestrian access.

Stand out at the event and light the way for Santa! Look for the Glow Zone mobile carts at the event and choose from a variety of holiday themed light up necklaces, hats and wands, available for purchase.

Event and fireworks are weather permitting.
