Full 2022 Jazz Fest Schedule:

The festival takes place in the Gazebo area, near LensCrafters and Yankee Candle. Limited seating will be available and all are encouraged to bring your own chairs.

1:15pm – 2:30pm | Luciano Antonio Trio
The music kicks off at 1:15 p.m. with Luciano Antonio, taking the audience on a tour of his home country Brazil with Brazilian music, his own originals and classic jazz standards.

3:15pm – 4:30pm | Vocalist Paul Marinaro and his Trio
Dubbed as having “one of the most beautiful vocal instruments in the business today” by Howard Reich of the Chicago Tribune, vocalist Paul Marinaro is a modern classic. With Chicago as his home base, Paul has become one of the most in-demand and respected male vocalists and has “taken his place among the top five male jazz singers active today.” (Scott Yanow, LA Jazz Scene)

5:10pm – 6:30pm | The Victor Garcia Organ Quintet
Grammy-nominated artist and trumpeter extraordinaire Victor Garcia is based in Chicago and tours the world over. Chicago Tribune’s Howard Reich says Garcia “stands out as an ebullient soloist offering a formidable technique and a radiantly polished tone.”

7pm – 8:30pm | James Sander’s Conjunto (Latin/Salsa)
The event is headlined by the upbeat, lively, dance-infectious sounds of James Sanders & Conjunto, who will celebrate the release of their critically acclaimed recording Evidencia, on Amadeo Records. Combining salsa, samba, Afro-Latin and Cuban rhythms, Conjunto has performed at Chicago Jazz Festival, the Chicago Latin Jazz Festival, Logan Center for the Performing Arts, Chicago Summer Dance, Chicago Cultural Center, and many other festivals and venues. James Sanders confidently crosses stylistic borders yet stays true to both the jazz violin legacy and his rigorous classical training, creating music that transcends category yet remains faithful to its multiple inspirations.
