Citizens for Conservation Spring Native Plant, Shrub, & Tree Sale May 3

2026 marks Citizens for Conservation’s 30th Annual Native Plant, Tree, and Shrub Sale. It has become one of the largest sales in the region, featuring more than 200 species of native forbs, grasses, trees, and shrubs. All plants are acquired from high-quality local nurseries and are grown without the use of neonicotinoid pesticides, which are toxic to pollinators.

2026 Sale Dates:

• Pre-orders: Now closed
• Pre-order Pick-up: May 1 from 11 am to 5 pm, and May 2 from 9 am to 3 pm
• Members’ Only Sale: May 1 from 11 am to 5 pm
• Public Sale: May 2-3 from 9 am to 3 pm

The sale will be held at the CFC Plant Sale Barn at Hill ‘N Dale Preserve, 11801 Ridge Road, Barrington Hills. View on Google Maps.

Native plant experts will be on hand at the sale to answer questions and help you find the right species based on your planting site.
CFC’s Native Plant database has details on hundreds of species. You can sort by water need, sun, color and desired wildlife species that you hope to attract.
