The 24th annual Barrington Golf Classic at the Lake Barrington Shores Golf Club is just days away and there’s still time to sign up to either play or win prizes.
The 2010 Golf Classic scramble, hosted by the Barrington Chamber of Commerce, is happening next Monday, July 19th. The cost to participate is $175 for one golfer or $650 for a foursome. That includes green fees, golf carts, a hospitality gift bag plus dinner and drinks at the “19th Hole” celebration. Proceeds will benefit the Barrington Chamber of Commerce’s small business and youth development programs.
Registration for the scramble begins at 11AM, playing starts at 12:30 and there is a “19th Hole” celebration with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dinner and awards starting at 5:30. If you’re not available to golf on Monday, you can purchase a $30 ticket to attend the 19th Hole Gourmet Dinner at the LBS Clubhouse. And you can also purchase a $25 chance to win the $1,000 top prize for the golf ball drop which will happen right at Noon.
