Easter is coming up next weekend and that means Peter Cottontail has booked a bunch of Barrington events in the coming days. If you’d like to bring your kids out to see the big bunny, there are plenty of opportunities to meet him in person, starting tomorrow.
To help you book some bunny time, I’ve put together a quick list of upcoming Easter Bunny appearances in Barrington…
Breakfast with the Bunny and Egg Hunt at Langendorf Park
When: Saturday, April 16th – Buffet Breakfast from 9am-10:15AM & Egg Hunt at 10:30AM
Where: Fitness & Recreation Center at Langendorf Park – 235 Lions Drive, Barrington
What: The Egg Hunt immediately follows the breakfast at 10:30am and is included in the price of the Breakfast or you can register separately. Both events are for all ages. Whole Foods-Palatine will be providing a healthy continental breakfast. We will also serve eggs, French toast sticks and breakfast sausages. There are activity books on each table for the children. Everyone will have a chance to meet the bunny, receive a treat and have their picture taken. The Egg Hunt is divided by age groups to make it fair for everyone. There is a 15-egg limit per child. The bunny will also be at the Egg Hunt.
How: You can pre-register for the event for $3/child or $5/child at the door or by calling the Park District at 847-381-0687. The Egg Hunt happens rain or shine. It moves into the gym if there is inclement weather.
Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at The Ice House Mall
When: Saturday, April 16th – 9 to 11AM
Where: Chessies 111 Grille in The Ice House Mall – 200 Applebee Street, Barrington
What: Enjoy a delicious spring buffet breakfast, meet the Easter Bunny, giveaways, face painting and balloon magic. Bring your camera for holiday memories!

Easter Bunny Home Visits – Barrington Park District
When: Wedensday, April 20th.
Where: Your Home
What: The Easter Bunny makes personnel visits to your home and hand delivers an Easter baskets to your child. This is a very popular event because you get to spend one-on-one time with the Easter Bunny in your home. You can pictures and video with the Bunny anywhere you want. Each visit is between 10-15 minutes in length.

Easter Bunny Home Visits – Kidz Parties Plus More
When: April 20th & 21st from 4-7PM
Where: Your Home
What: Bunny arrives with baskets for all that are registered. $30 for first child and $10 each for additional children. Meet & greet along with pictures (you take) are included.

Visit with the Easter Bunny in his Spring Garden
When: Thursday, April 21 through Saturday, April 23 from Noon to 3pm.
Where: The Ice House Mall – 200 Applebee Street, Barrington
What: Bring your camera to make your own holiday memories! Free giveaways to all children.

Night at the Mall Egg Hunt
When: Thursday, April 21
Where: Kidz Parties Plus More at the Ice House Mall – 200 Applebee Street, Barrington
What: Open to ages 4-10 years. Egg Hunt rain or shine Easter Bunny will have eggs hidden around the mall. Ages 4-6 at 6pm to 7:15 Ages 6-10 7:15 to 8:30pm. Pizza party will follow the egg hunt.
