105. Warm Up at the Winter Wine Walk

3 mins read

Nothing takes the chill out of a cold winter day like an enticing glass of wine with your name on it. To help us fight the winter blues with some reds and some whites, a group of downtown Barrington businesses is inviting us to a Winter Wine Walk this Saturday, March 3rd, from 2 to 6 p.m.

Participating merchants will be all set up for you to shop, sip, nibble and then stay for dinner in downtown Barrington this Saturday. The Park Avenue Restaurant and Wine Bar will be serving up their signature sampling of wines by the glass or bottle during the event accompanied by some of the best advice you’ll find on the subject of wine.  The Park Avenue will also be providing samples of the season’s “hottest” wines at at participating merchant locations which include Mia Sorella, Urban Flair, Acacia Organics, Barrington Flower Shop, Grassroots, and The Blue House.  The day includes raffles, specials and some great wine.  They’ll also be offering wine “maps” at all locations so it’ll be a great way to taste and learn about some of the top selling wines in Barrington.

For more details about the participating merchants, you’ll find descriptions, addresses and website links in the list below.  But first, to help you map out your Winter Wine Walk, check out this very jazzy video showcasing the featured hosts…
