The Barrington Park District is introducing another new event, and this one’s designed for father’s and daughters and just in time for Valentine’s Day. They’re hosting their first “Daddy Daughter Date Night” coming up in early February.
So guys, if you’d like to treat the other women in your life, your little lady or ladies, to a special night out, this is a great way to do it. The event is for girls ages 4 to 12 years old with their dads (uncles or grandfathers, too). They’ve planned a fun-filled night of dancing, pictures and food so dads can bond with their daughters from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, February 8th.
Daddy Daughter Date Night will take place in Rooms A and B at the Park District’s Fitness and Recreation Center, 235 Lions Drive in Barrington and each couple will also receive a professional photograph to remember their special Valentine.
The registration deadline is a month away, on February 1, 2013, but popular Park District events fill up fast. There’s a limit of 50 couples for this event and no registrations will be accepted at the door.
The fee is $60 for in-district dads and daughters or $72 for couples who live out of district. If you’d like to bring additional daughters, the cost is $35 in-district or $42 out-of-district.
