As you break out those new 2013 day planners for the new year, turn to the page to February 16th and write down this event: Dancing through the Decades for Hospice & Palliative Care of Northeast Illinois with Libido Funk Circus. This is an incredibly fun band to see live and you can plan on reliving the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s for a great cause.
Dress in your favorite vintage duds so you can dance in true retro style to the sounds of Libido Funk Circus, a cover band that orignially formed in 1996 as “an over-the-top tribute to the Disco music of the 70’s”. According to the bio page on their website, “While they continue to play your favorite Disco hits, the addition of hundreds of dance & rock songs, spanning from the 60’s through today, has quite literally turned Libido Funk Circus into a human jukebox.”
In addition to the live entertainment, the evening will include a sit down dinner, open bar and an incredible silent auction. There will also be a 50/50 drawing and a retro candy bar. The party will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, February 16th, at the Crystal Lake Holiday Inn, 800 S. Route 31.
The cost to get your groove on is $95 per ticket, you can CLICK HERE to purchase yours online and proceeds will benefit the programs of Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois (HPNI). Since 1982, HPNI has provided compassionate end-of-life care to patients and families, making every moment count for those touched by serious illness and loss. They are here to help when we need it most.
