Pictures of Barrington covered in white have been all over Facebook today so we’ve decided to publish an impromptu snow-inspired photo contest here at 365Barrington.com. I made a few quick calls this afternoon, lined up great local prizes for THREE WINNERS and entering is easy. All you have to do is share a photo of one of your favorite snowy scenes here in Barrington. Whether it’s a dapper snowman, a delighted sledder, your favorite snow shovelers at work or a simple snowy landscape, you could win one of our prizes when we announce our winners next Friday, one week from today.
Here’s how the contest works:
* Submit your favorite snow photo using the form below or on our Facebook page at Facebook.com/BarringtonIllinois
* The deadline to submit your photos is at the end of the day this Sunday, Febraury 10th
* On Monday, we’ll open the contest up to a vote at 365Barrington.com
* We’ll announce our winners here at 365Barrington.com next Friday, Feburary 15th
Now for the prizes:
* Our FIRST PLACE winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to use at the dine-in iPic Theater at The Arboretum of South Barrington. (The marketing manager there says he has “a soft spot for snow”.)
* Our SECOND PLACE winner will receive a $25 gift certificate from the Arboretum of South Barrington to spend at any store or restaurant at the Arboretum.
* Our THIRD PLACE winner will receive a FREE one topping large pizza from Georgio’s Chicago Pizzeria & Pub at The Arboretum.
