Students and parents were glued to Barrington School District 220’s Facebook page last night, waiting for word about whether the forecast for snow would cause administrators to call a “Snow Day” for today. They made the call to cancel school just after 8 last night, giving us an instant excuse for a new Snow Day Photo Contest here at 365Barrington.com.
For this contest, we have a sweet prize and simple rules. All you have to do is submit a photo in the form below which answers this question:
What does a snow day look like to you?
Please keep in mind that your contest photo doesn’t have to feature a single snowflake. If you spend a Snow Day baking cookies, watching movies or keeping warm by the fire, those types of photos are perfect!
It can be creative, it can be funny or it can be a clever snow day meme like this one posted on District 220’s Facebook page before last night’s official Snow Day call.
This is a quick contest so the deadline to submit photos is by midnight tonight.
If we get enough entries, we’ll publish a vote so you can help us choose the winner. The prize? A gift card to buy goodies at Heinen’s Fine Foods in Barrington!
So here you go. This is the form to enter the contest. Good luck, and enjoy your day off!
