There’s a whole lotta Santa love happening in Barrington today after another successful visit from St. Nick, Rudy and the rest of the reindeer posse. I don’t know about you, but I’m POOPED! Shopping, gift wrapping, present opening, cooking and merry-making never cease to make December one of the most exhilarating and exhausting months of the year.
But there’s nothing like seeing those little faces light up when they discover that Santa delivered on those wish lists for another year. And we have a sampling of FIVE sweet Santa letters that kids in Barrington sent to the North Pole this year by way of the elves at the Barrington Park District.
1.) The Believer
“Dear Santa, To start off I would like to say no matter how many times kids say you are not real I will always know you are real… Sincerely, Kaine”
1.) The Big Sister
“Dear Santa. My sister Piper I want to get her a present… From, Charlotte.”
2.) The Boy on the “Good List”
“…I have been a good boy. My name might be on the good list. Look down the chimney and make sure the fire is not on before you come inside my house… Alexander”
4.) The Budding Chef
“Dear Santa… I would like a kind of food maker like a fortune cookie maker, a snow cone maker, or a cake pop maker. Also could you please bring something for my dog, Bella and my cat, Oliver?… From, Allison”
5.) The Good Girl
“Dear Santa, I have been a good girl this year. I have been nice to my sister and my family… I love you. From, Ella”
So here’s to another year of good behavior in 2014 (and a good night’s sleep in our near futures)! Merry Christmas from all of us at 365Barrington.com and thank you, Santa, for bringing another month of cheer. Here’s more on what kids in Barrington asked Santa for this year, from our video report the night he arrived in Barrington earlier this month. See you next year, St. Nick!
