ShelterBox, a non-profit sponsored by international service clubs, Rotaries, school and church groups, businesses and even individuals, aims to deliver boxes to disaster victims. Russia mania
Just in time for the Winter Olympic Games, Barrington area chef Carol Mackey stopped by the Garlands living facility to demonstrate Russian cooking. This week’s Barrington Suburban Life gets up close with Mackey’s borscht, beef stroganoff and orange drop cookie demo – providing photos and an online recipe. “To your health,” Mackey salutes.
