One of my favorite things about Barrington is the love and support for local shops and businesses. This week for our Barrington Street Style series, I had the privilege to photograph local business owner, Alissa Mazzenga. Alissa is the owner of Feast Fine Art and Calligraphy. Alissa wore a forest green structured shoulder top from Zara with a pair of relaxed skinny JCrew patterned denim. Alissa loves to mix vintage and classic pieces for a more eclectic look. Her look is completed with her poppy lip and nail color. Alissa has a classy elegance about her which is also exemplified beautifully in her art.
Trained as a fine artist, Alissa blends painterly, calligraphic and illustrative techniques. Her confident, fluid brushstrokes and hand sculpted letterforms emanate a captivating presence. Their magic resides in the ethereal movement of fluid wisps of ink, forming soft arched lines and design that stands alone.
Alissa newest line of Custom Address Stamps make the perfect personalized gift for so many occasions; birthdays, weddings and housewarming. She also has a drop dead gorgeous line of Original Paintings available for sale that add beauty and creative refreshment to any space. To see more of Alissa’s gorgeous work visit her website, www.feastcalligraphy.com. Also to follow along with Alissa’s daily life and work, visit her Instagram page.
